Horotiu Hauora Family Health was an idea in 2022 that became a reality in 2024. We have had an awesome almost two years establishing our practice and look forward to what lies ahead for us.
Understanding the demands on the health system and the ever increasing need for family doctors in the community, we decided to get together a team and set out to make a dream a reality.
Our vision was to provide a family focussed, easy access, medical clinic set in rural Waikato. Returning to the traditional idea of having a family doctor who you can trust and develop long lasting relationships with is also a common goal the team share, one that fosters better health outcomes for all.
Horotiu Hauora Family Health will look to increase enrolments over the coming months and years and support the growing population, and will listen and adapt to the needs of the community including local businesses, schools, marae and iwi.
