We are a small, relatively new general practice in Horotiu just north of Te Rapa in Hamilton.
The traditional family practice is missing in Aotearoa today, and we want to bring this back! Our staff are friendly and easy-going, and at Horotiu Hauora we will do our best to make sure you see the same doctor every time you visit. PLEASE NOTE: there is a very high demand for our doctors, and we are currently at a five week wait for non-urgent GP visits. Our registered nurse prescribers can assist with general unwellness and acute presentations on a daily basis. We have an efficient team here to help you with your medical needs. Please call our friendly receptionists who can help you with your query.

Our unfunded flu vaccines are now in clinic and available ($40 each). For those eligible, funded flu vaccines will be available from the 1st of April.
If you are a Southern Cross member, we can process your Easi Claim in clinic. Please let our receptionists know before you pay for your service.
Also available to Southern Cross members are free of charge online GP and nurse consultations through CareHQ when you book through the MySouthernCross app. GP appointments are available between 7am and 10pm (7 days a week), and nurse appointments are available 9am-5pm (Sunday to Friday).
We have our own pharmacy on site. Come in and see our lovely pharmacist, Lorna. She is open 8.30am to 4.30pm to help with your medication needs.
